Something no one knows about ME:

Extended Biography:
Kevin Murray’s love of music began at an early age.  As a self-taught young artist his skills were apparent from the time he picked up a guitar.  He was invited to further develop his art at the Calderone School of Music in East Hanover, NJ.  This music school is renowned for its professionally trained instructors and the success of its students.  The education, performance skills, and knowledge of music that Kevin gained is what gave him the outstanding opportunity to attend the prestigious Manhattan School of Music.

While training at Manhattan School of Music, Kevin was able to work closely with many masters of classical guitar such as Mark DelPriora, David Leisner, and Oren Fader, just to name a few.  This education is what has propelled Kevin to be the superior musician he is today.

A few of Kevin’s most notable performances include Respigi’s “Feste Romana” on the mandolin with The Manhattan School of Music’s Symphony, The Guitar Festival of 2008 preforming Steve Reich’s “Electric Counterpoint” at the Borden Auditorium in New York, and the “Castles of Spain” by Torroba at Manhattan School of Music’s commencement ceremony.  The list of Kevin’s performances is expansive and impressive; these are just a few highlights of his career.

Kevin has a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Guitar Performance.  He is currently using this well-regarded education to instruct others in Arizona. Many of Kevin’s students in New Jersey have been accepted to higher level music universities due to his training.  As well as teaching, Kevin preforms at weddings, corporate gatherings, social events, and many other venues.  Large or small, no matter what the size of your event, Kevin Murray’s musical skill will delight and entertain your guests.  No music selection is out of his reach.
