Sarah, a piano graduate of Grand Canyon University, began her musical journey early in life. Piano, flute and theory/composition became her passion in grade school and has since performed in Western Europe, New York City and all around the Southwestern United States. Her collegiate musical private studies include private lessons in flute & piccolo, piano and voice. Lessons were mostly in Classical music, but instruction in musical theater, accompanying, jazz and performance techniques enhanced her performance of all different styles.
She has about six (6) years of intensive tutoring experience with students from ages three to 93 and uses various books and techniques. Each lesson is individually tailored according to the goals, experiences and interests of each student.
"Music empowered me to find the confidence to be the individual that I am today through constructive criticism, experiences to perform and through the self-expression tools music study gives you. It collaborates every area of the brain and shapes how we interact with our culture and others around us...Formal Classical technique training helps promote efficient writing and self-expression for all areas of musical interests. It helps articulate and extends the expression of the performer's soul."
